How long are meetings?
Meeting are a minimum of 30 minutes in duration but can continue as long as needed beyond this minimum.
How much can I make?
There are two factors that determine how much you earn. The first factor is the size/prominence of your company; the second is your role/title within the company. Minimum earnings starts at $75 per meeting and climb significantly from there.
Does money earned count as income?
Yes, we will issue all active users an IRS Form 1099-MISC each year for any income earned through our platform. If a user choosees to make donations through the platform, we will provide donation receipts for tax reporting.

For FedRAMP employees we (Tofu) will make the donations in your stead to ensure all compliance requirements.
Will my employer have issues with me doing this?
Many employment agreements allow for side jobs (aka moonlighting) and limit prohibitions to cases where there could be a conflict of interest, impacts to your performance, and/or misuse of company resources/assets. Additionally, most employers want, if not require, employees to stay up to date on the latest product offerings on the market. Using the Tofu app simply allows you gain additional benefits from activities you are performing already and remove all the things you hate about vendor interactions.

Why is it called Tofu?
It is a short form of Top of the Funnel, a sales term and metaphor for the customer purchase journey represented by a funnel with target populations getting smaller as they go through the stages. You can simplify any sales and marketing funnel into three stages:

Top of the funnel (TOFU): People become aware of the problem you can solve.

Middle of the funnel (MOFU): Prospects want a solution and consider their options.

Bottom of the funnel (BOFU): prospects decide on a solution and become customers.

TOFU is the most complicated, inefficient, and costly stage of the sales and marketing process. Our (Tofu LLC's) reason for being is to solve these challenges and make the process a better experience for buyers, while also satisfying vendors need to effectively promote their products and close new deals.
Is there a cost to use the app?
For buyers, evaluators, influencers, etc. the service is 100% free; only product vendors pay for platform services.
